Aidan O’Brien has hinted that Gleneagles will take on Golden Horn in next week’s Juddmonte International at York. It looks set to be an epic battle between the 2000 Guineas victor Gleneagles and Epsom Derby winner Golden Horn on the Knavesmire. O’Brien had earlier this week suggested Deauville was the next stop for Gleneagles, but has now said: “The chances of him running in the Prix Jacques le Marois on Sunday are unfortunately fading with the forecast. “I’ve always considered Gleneagles a true miler but he needs good fast ground to be seen at his best so York will probably be his next race as we are running out of options with him.” Golden Horn is 4/6 with bet365 to maintain his unbeaten record in the Juddmonte, while Gleneagles can be backed at 11/4.

You can have a decent bankroll boost by joining Bet365 who are offering a 100% deposit bonus up to ¬£200. ¬†That should give you plenty to go at in Yorkshire’s premier festival.
