Tonight’s Monday night offering on Sky Sports is Derby County V Burnley. The Rams have not started the season in the best of form and are still searching for a first Home win. Burnley on the other hand have only won once away and their league position is more thanks to games at Turf Moor.
The much trumpeted appointment of Paul Clement has not had the desired effect at present. His experience as assistant to Carlo Ancelotti at Chelsea, PSG and latterly Real Madrid gives him immense credentials. They have spent big in the transfer market also. The owners will be hoping for them to finally push on and be promoted.
The visitors tonight are looking good to bounce back to the Premier immediately and have made a solid start. Marshalled by Sean Dyche, the clarets have the ability and financial awareness to do just that. The acquisition of Andre Gray will help them to replace the goals of Danny Ings.
The feeling amongst pundits is tonight will be a tight game. I however can see at least 3 goals so 21/20 at bet365 looks a tasty bet.
I also think tonight might be the night for Derby to win and they are available at 10/3 to win and both teams to score. Derby will of course be cheered on by a big home crowd. They have an average gate of 29k plus and that sort of backing will push them home here.
