The Seahawks at the 49ers is this weeks Thursday Night Football.  After a torrid start to both their seasons its imperative that they get a win.  The Arizona Cardinals sit top of the NFC West a full 2 games ahead.  Therfore the loser of this will probably miss out on a chance of catching them.

The Seahawks have not had the best start to the season and currently sit 2-4.  That equals or betters how many games they have lost all season in the last 2 completed seasons.  Strangely for them, they have struggled to close games out and have lost a number of close games.  Last week they gave up a tonne of yards to Cam Newton and the resurgent Panthers.  Despite that they are still have a great defence, expertly led  by all star Richard Sherman.  They currently rank 4th overall.

On the other side of the ball they have a strong ground game and have the ability to move the chains through the air also.

Like the Seahawks, the 49ers are also struggling at 2-4. Some would say the biggest reason is the loss of Harbaugh to Michigan.  I would tend to agree with that.  He made them Superbowl contenders year in year out and did a great job of transforming the enigmatic Kaepernick.  The 49ers are struggling massively this year offensively in particular.  They are officially the worst offence out there.  In fact the Chiefs and even Jags look more threatening.

Defensively, the 49ers are a shadow of their former selves.  They lack a pass rush and are dead last at stopping the pass.  The defensive line isnt the best and they will struggle to hold the Seahawks in both areas.

The only thing they have in their favour is the Seahawks are yet to win on the road this season.  Despite that I think the Seahawks will win this by 8-12 and therefore cover the pre match spread of -6.5.

Winner are offering a massive up to £200 matched bonus.  Why not take a look at what they have to offer.
